Sculpture candangos and the Pantheon of the Fatherland and Freedom Tancredo Neves are located in the plaza of the Three Powers in Brasilia. Pantheon of the Fatherland presents modernist architecture, symbolizing a dove, designed by Oscar Niemeyer. It has three floors, totaling total area of ??2105 m². Its purpose is to honor all those who stood out in favor of the Brazilian nation, the names of the honorees listed in the "Book of Steel," also called "Book of Heroes of the Fatherland," which gives them the status of "national hero".. A escultura Os Candangos e o Panteão da Pátria e da Liberdade Tancredo Neves que foi inaugurado em 7 de setembro de 1986, estão localizados na praça dos Três Poderes, em Brasília. Panteão da Pátria apresenta arquitetura modernista, simbolizando uma pomba, criada por Oscar Niemeyer. Possui três pavimentos, somando área total construída de 2 105 m². Seu intuito é homenagear todos aqueles que se destacaram em prol da pátria brasileira, os nomes dos homenageados constam no "Livro de Aço", também chamado "Livro dos Heróis da Pátria", o qual lhes confere o status de "herói nacional".
